Creativity in School

The things you learn in high school are all just what a group of people decides you need to know. You get no chance to actually learn something you're interested in or develop yourself outside if the standard. Once out of high school we aren't going to use half of the information we receive. We spend years getting information that we may not apply. There should be far more choice in the direction your curriculum goes in high school instead of being forced to receive the exact same cookie cutter courses. I have little interest in many classes that I'm required to take and have almost no choice in the types of classes I'm in.
