Instagram Envy

I think it's perfectly fine to post pictures of your most exotic retreats and doing your favorite things that make people wish they were doing them too. It's not a competition, but if you're doing something you want people to know about you should be able to share it with them. The people following you on Instagram should be people who will be happy to see you enjoying yourself not the people who would be jealous and annoyed. That's why I disagree with David Coggins who said that you shouldn't post "trophies" on Instagram, why not? It's a place where you can share your experiences with your friends.

Old People

I don't want to live until I'm incredibly old. I'm perfectly fine dying before my body starts to give out and I can't hold in the feces that my tired old self is creating. I never want to get to the point where I need help to keep myself going because of aging. 65 sounds fine by me, and if I make it to 70 without falling apart then that's a couple extra years. Once I start to lose control if certain things though I'm gone.

There are little to no benefits of keeping the elderly around even longer. We send them to nursing homes to die already. Getting them out of public view so we can pretend they have good lives as they slowly die while we pay out our backsides to keep them breathing. The quality of life is practically non existent when you're just a body struggling to stay alive while all the young people still with lives to live are paying so much, hindering their own lives, to keep yours going.
